And you people though Lewis Black and I were crazy didn’t you? DIDN’T YOU?????? Remember the last time I went off on this rant? Well,two new congressional reports are out on bottled water,BOTH of them urging the public to make bottled water a distant second choice to filtered tap water. That’s not saying that that’s not just what bottled water is,if you read some of the labels on brands like Nestle Life Water,all it is is filtered water from the Dallas public water supply. None of this stuff is from pure springs straight out of the ground. NONE OF IT!!!!!!! The only water that actually was,was PERRIER,and they found BENZENE in the stuff!!!!!
The second part of the report from congress finds that chemicals in the plastics used to house the supposedly fresh and pure water contain chemical compounds(I know this to) that begin to break down and become part of the actual water product. These chemicals are not good for you,as they are known carcinogens,I know this because every time I go to break into a piece of equipment that contains Styrene,Xylene,Tolulene,paraxylene,all these chemicals that end in ene,all used in making these damn bottles,I have to wear an SCBA breathing device and pretty neon orange space suit and use brass tools so this shit doesn’t blow up or give me and my future generations a third eye or a second head,or two penises.
City water? or,as one comedian calls it…CITY PUNCH,because of all the stuff in it,when filtered through either a Britta filter or some other charcoal filtering system,is JUST AS GOOD,if not better for you because you don’t get…Ok…let me rephrase that…The city punch lobby is not happy because of all the damn plastic bottles that are NOT being recycled,which is a staggering number.
So this is for all you nutty enviro-wacko-gotta have a gallon bottle of Sobe Life Water types……YOUR PLASTIC BOTLLES ARE DOING JUST AS MUCH TO KILL THE ENVIRONMENT AS JUNK YARDS BURNING TIRES DO. So,suck it up. Get a water filter,and drink some good,old fashioned city water. It was good for you when you were a kid wasn’t it? It’s better now because EPA restrictions are a lot tougher now,and besides,you might also get the benefit of METHAMPHETAMINE from the meth labs in your area dumping into the water treatment system. There. That’s your energy source,and that means you also don’t need those goddam 5 hour energy bottles anymore. Just drink city water….It’s got all of life’s essentials in it.
